Until when can we see fireflies?
Typically, you can enjoy the exhibition until around the end of July.
Around what time can you watch it?
The best time to see it is after sunset, around 8 PM to 9 PM.
Is admission free?
This is available free of charge to hotel guests only.
What kinds of fireflies can we see?
You can enjoy viewing Genji fireflies from early July, and Heike fireflies from late July. However, as they are wild creatures, the timing and number of fireflies flying may vary depending on the temperature and weather, and there may be days when they are difficult to spot.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The view may be obstructed by heavy rain or strong winds. However, it can be enjoyed in light rain.
Can I take photos?
Photography is not permitted. Using lights while taking pictures will disturb other visitors. Also, it is not possible to photograph the light of fireflies with smartphone cameras or similar devices.
Please refrain from touching or collecting fireflies. Thank you for your understanding.
Is it accessible for wheelchair users?
The scaffolding is unstable, and there is a risk of injury. Please contact the hotel for details.
